Meet Degreed

Learning for impact

We help you create a dynamic culture of learning to attract, grow and retain your talent.

About Degreed

We’re Degreed

Founded in 2012 by David Blake and Eric Sharp, Degreed began with a mission "jailbreak the degree"— to track and recognize all the learning that happens beyond formal education. At the time, that meant content aggregation and curation, but not for long. What started as the industry's first learning experience platform (LXP) has evolved into much more.

We've once again grown beyond the constraints of a label, which—if we're honest—is exactly where we like to be. But no matter what you call us, our goal remains the same: to offer learning that makes an impact on individuals and the businesses they serve; to make every skill count, wherever and however it’s learned; to use the latest innovations (like AI) to create truly customizable and meaningful learning.

Our guiding principles

Human-first

Everything we make and do is, ultimately, for the learners.

Bold

We experiment, acknowledge the hard truths, and push the limits of what’s “possible.”

Empowering

Knowledge is power, and we’re giving it back to the people.
