Privacy notice

We at Degreed Inc, a Delaware Corporation having its registered office at 4305 Hacienda Drive, Suite 300, Pleasanton, CA 94588 (“Degreed”) will collect your personal data in connection with the survey as follows.

What Types of Information Do We Collect?
When you submit the survey, we will capture the following data:
Name
Email address
Company name
Survey responses
In order to send you this request, Degreed has processed your name and contact information.

Legal basis for processing Personal Information
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Brazil, our applicable legal bases are as follows:

  • to collect the survey results we rely on your consent (art. 6, par. 1, letter a of GDPR and UK GDPR and art. 7, point I LGPD);
  • to send you this survey, we rely on Degreed’s legitimate interest of obtaining feedback regarding our services (art. 6, par. 1, letter f of GDPR and UK GDPR and art. 7, point IX LGPD)

How do we use the information we collect?
We will analyze the collected data to identify themes and act quickly on feedback to optimize the Degreed experience. The purpose for collecting the data is to improve the Degreed product and better manage Degreed’s relationship with our clients

Whom do we share your personal data with?
This data is stored in Qualtrics’ datacenters located in Germany and will be retained for comparison purposes. Copies of the data will be retained in Degreed’s Salesforce, Gainsight, and data warehouse instances in the United States. Your data may be accessed by Degreed’s staff or contractors in the United States, UK, EU, India, Brazil and Australia. Your data will not otherwise be shared with any other entities.

Note to European Economic Area and United Kingdom residents:
Neither the European Commission, nor the United Kingdom have recognized the United States, India, Brazil or Australia as offering an adequate level of protection for personal data. In order to safeguard your data, Degreed has implemented adequate safeguards in the form of EU Standard Contractual Clauses (more information here. By submitting the survey, you consent to the transfer of your personal data as described above.

How Long Is Your Information Retained?
Your information will be retained in this form for a period of [2 years]. Afterwards, the information will be anonymized, your name and contact details being removed, but the survey results will still be associated with the company your represent.

What are your rights in connection with the processing of your personal data?
You can request a purge of your data at any time by contacting your Client Experience (CX) representative. If you do not know who your CX representative is, you can make a request by emailing support@degreed.com. By submitting your survey responses you are consenting to the processing of your personal data as described herein.
