Degreed Visionary Award winners 2024 celebrated at annual LENS event

The Degreed Visionary Awards recognizes excellence in skill-based learning and the business impact this achieves.

Pleasanton, CA — 12 March, 2024: Degreed, the enterprise platform that makes it easier for hundreds of companies globally to engage their workforce in skills-first learning, celebrated innovation and impact in learning at the 2024 Visionary Awards at LENS, its annual flagship conference where L&D’s greatest thinkers meet to innovate and share their experiences.

Judges awarded the Gold award based on BNY Mellon’s significant cost savings through content optimization via Degreed, and the number of active learners the platform attracted in the 48 hours post-launch.

 

Learning Innovator of the Year
Exness — Gold
Bell — Silver
CI&T — Bronze

 

Exness was awarded Gold due to its impressive number of skill ratings and consistent skills taxonomy usage. Enabling it to advance its skills-first learning and internal mobility strategies.

 

Learning Marketer of the Year
Innovapost — Gold
Regions — Silver
KPMG Brazil — Bronze

 

Innovapost is being recognized with the Gold award thanks to high employee engagement with their personal skills profiles, averaging 16 skills per learner across the company. This lays a strong foundation for future skills-first approaches in learning, internal mobility, promotion, and more.

 

Business Performance Program of the Year
TD Bank — Gold
KPMG Global — Silver
Allianz — Bronze

 

Judges were impressed with TD Bank’s ‘build once for many’ approach in developing and deploying learning resources, enabling the company to create a more scalable and cost-effective way of upskilling its 104,000 employees.

 

David Blake Learner of the Year
Brandon Konecny, Checkr

 

At the award ceremony, Brandon Konecny of Checkr was highlighted as the ‘David Blake Learner of the Year’ in recognition of his commitment to continuous learning. Using Checkr’s annual personal learning stipend, Brandon has upskilled in compliance and advertising law, plus invested in Continuing Legal Education and supporting books. The flexible approach to his learning opportunities allowed Brandon greater autonomy over his learning and he has applied his new skills in his current role at Checkr, taking on more responsibilities and leadership.
