What are cookies?  
Cookies are small data files containing text that a website asks your device to store. Cookies are used for a variety of reasons, including enabling websites to provide functionality (like remembering that you are logged in) or enabling them to work more efficiently. Other technologies, including data we store on your web browser or device, identifiers associated with your device and other software, are used for similar purposes.

Cookies are not the only way to recognise or track visitors to a website. We may use other, similar technologies from time to time, such as web beacons (sometimes called “tracking pixels” or “clear gifs”). These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable us to recognise when someone has visited the Degreed site or opened an email that we have sent. Degreed’s use of cookies
The Degreed site uses cookies when you view the site from a computer browser, a mobile browser or when using any of the Degreed browser extensions. This notice provides information on Degreed’s use of cookies on its public-facing website. Degreed uses cookies to:

• remember users’ customised preferences
• provide users with website or platform services and features
• improve Degreed’s products and services.

Essential Cookies
When you visit the Degreed site or use the Degreed platform, some cookies are required for technical reasons that are necessary for the Degreed site or Degreed platform to operate. We refer to these as “essential” cookies.

Non-essential Cookies on the Degreed site
